The £88 would be for a replacement unit mate!!!!
I had my Quest knocked from its cradle as I hit a phookin pheasant during the Summer! By the time I managed to slow down and turn back a lorry had run over it and really wrecked it.
I called Garmin to ask if the would supply me with new mapping FOC if I purchased another unit as I had just recently upgraded to V9.
I was asked to post it to them and they would quote me for a repair...........the unit was in bits!!!
Anyway, I posted it to them and 4 days later I paid them £90 and recieved a brand new Quest with full two years warranty!
I will stay faithful to the Garmin brand after the service they gave me.
Thank you Garmin UK.
