88 quid is actually less than I expected it to be.
Another option might be to contact Garmin for a trade in. I have heard tales from some friends that they quite often offer you a very good deal on a new unit if you already own an old one and it's out of warranty, additionally don't forget that according to the European Union, you should have a 2 year warranty with the device (as far as I know this is valid in all member states) so if it's less than 2 years old (even if you thought you had only a 12 month warranty) you may find that Garmin are still obliged to help you.
