Colorado Dial Control

I've been playing with the Colorado a bit more and I've noticed that the dial control actually clicks out if you want it, I was thinking this might be a handy opportunity for some kind of more trick aftermarket replacement, I wonder if anyone is making something like this, as far as I can tell the dial housing is waterproofed so fitting another similar dial shouldn't effect the unit from a waterproofing perspective
