Default Scala FM and Scala Q2 combined

I just tried using a Scala Rider FM and a Scala Rider Q2 together as wireless intercom and the two seemed to pair together easily and work quite well as intercom, somehow the volume seemed low but I didn't really test it comprehensively.

Good Job Scala as far as I can see, great idea making your products backwards compatible to keep customers loyal

Default But . . . .

Once the two headsets are paired as an intercom together, you will then have a problem using the Q2 with the Garmin Zumo.

At the moment this is a known problem which Garmin know about, so hopefully Garmin should come up with a solution sometime soon.

In the meantime it seems that the only solution for now is either to use the Q2 as a bluetooth headset (and don't pair it with another Scala as an intercom) or use it only as an intercom.

At the moment if you have paired it with another Scala (Q2 or and older FM) intercom, you won't then be able to use the Q2 with you Zumo. This is valid for now (i.e. firmware version 3.9 and bluetooth software version 3.0) so be warned!
