Wireless intercom from British firm Intraride, which uses a two-inch long headset pod which attaches to the side of your helmet and contains a mini radio transmitter and receiver. The pod has automatic Vox and volume compensation, a headset socket, and can be charged either by the mains or by the bike with a NiMh battery. It comes in chrome, carbon fibre black, or painted to match your lid.
The unit itself has Bluetooth connectivity, stereo music for MP3s, CDs, radio, of GPS, plus rider-to-pillion and bike-to-bike communications. It's bike powered, and integrates with the Goldwing and BMW "K" series music systems. And the GPS and radar detctor inputs can automatically overide any music playing.
The Intaride Liberty will be available shortly and will cost £349 for two headsets and pods, and one hub.
