Default Quest Antenna

Is there any way of replacing the damaged antenna without any charge? I had contacted Garmin UK and they had asked GBP 88.00 to mend it.
Regards,

Default I don't think so

But if you find a way I'd be interested to hear as I also need one!

88 quid is actually less than I expected it to be.

Another option might be to contact Garmin for a trade in. I have heard tales from some friends that they quite often offer you a very good deal on a new unit if you already own an old one and it's out of warranty, additionally don't forget that according to the European Union, you should have a 2 year warranty with the device (as far as I know this is valid in all member states) so if it's less than 2 years old (even if you thought you had only a 12 month warranty) you may find that Garmin are still obliged to help you.

I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

David

Regards,
The £88 would be for a replacement unit mate!!!!

I had my Quest knocked from its cradle as I hit a phookin pheasant during the Summer! By the time I managed to slow down and turn back a lorry had run over it and really wrecked it.

I called Garmin to ask if the would supply me with new mapping FOC if I purchased another unit as I had just recently upgraded to V9.

I was asked to post it to them and they would quote me for a repair...........the unit was in bits!!!

Anyway, I posted it to them and 4 days later I paid them £90 and recieved a brand new Quest with full two years warranty!

I will stay faithful to the Garmin brand after the service they gave me.

Thank you Garmin UK.
