On-Route for UK route planning

Question:
Does On-Route give all the same route options & detail level including the same functions etc for the whole of the UK (England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales) as it does for Europe?


Answer:
On-Route is historically a continental European product which has gradually been improved such that it now includes the UK and Ireland.
So the answer is, the coverage and features are almost the same for the UK and Ireland as they are for Europe. The route planning features, the excursion manager and the all of the route settings work in the same way. The main differences being that there are more points of interest for continental Europe and the pre-packaged ideas for round trips do not include trips in the UK
As points of interest can be imported into on-route from an external source, this only really leaves the pre-packaged trips as the main difference.
