Default 2720 - WAAS Question

It appears that the default is for WAAS to be disabled on my 2720. Is there a down side to enabling WAAS? TIA for any info provided.

Default I'm not sure

But I think it may make the unit run slightly slower and take longer to come up initially but this is just based on my experience of the unit rather than any hard specs.

HTH,

David

Thanks! I suspected that might be the case, I just wondered if there was any more serious "gotcha" that I might be overlooking. It was the fact that WAAS disabled seemed to be the default that prompted my curiosity. Since there does not appear to be a significant downside, I will play with WAAS a bit and see if there is any perceived benefit.

Personally I like to always have the feature enabled as it seems to hold the satellite signal better when it's enabled.

For this reason, I always have it on.

I'd be interested to hear any further findings that you make though
