Smile Tom Tom Rider

I currently used the original Rider and have it mounted on the top yolk of my Yamaha FJR1300 with the handlebar adapter that comes with the kit. It is a basic navigation aid, and does what it says on the box, no fuss just good directions.

I also use the Rider one on an FJR but with a stem mount. This mount can be obstucted by tank bags if you use one.
The only other thing I did was upgrade to a scala rider bluetooth device - for me it works great.

I must say that I haven't really seen the standard TomTom mount for the FJR, so if you feel like posting a photo I'd be quite interested in that.

If it uses the RAM system and you want something flashy, a friend of mine is making nice mounts for the FJR

i made a bracket to be able to fit my rider to my fireblade, works well but im unhappy with the bracket and the way it charges only when it wants to.

Paul, do you find the scala to be loud enough for you?

Default Scala

Hi there,

I made a few notes about the Scala here:

Scala Rider FM

I think you'll find it's loud enough, you'll only have a problem if you wear earplugs and you drive fast while using it.
