Default Tom Tom Rider Cable

help , the cable to my powered mount severed , I have successfully refitted some new crimps to the end but forgot to take note of which colour lead went to which terminal. On the end of the connector it is marked with "1" and "2" , a friend tells me that pin 1 is normally the live ( red wire) is this correct ?
Hope you can help. Cheers
Johnyboy

Default Red is normailly live, yes

Yes, red wire is normally live but I haven't ever done what you're trying I'm afraid.

As long as the other wire is black than it's almost certainly Black = Negative and Red = Positive though.
