Default Additional maps

Hi - information please - I have downloaded the map 7.08 of Greece on to an sd card but have not yet put the card in the Zumo. Can anyone tell me what happens when I insert the card? (1) Does the Zumo access this new map separately and when the use of the map is completed the map can be deleted from the Zumo probably when the Zumo is connected to the computer as a drive? Or (2) the new map is integrated into the Zumo maps and it is there to stay until the original map data is reloaded?
Or (3) I am totally wrong and there is a totally different way to do this!
Thanks in advance.

Default Nothing will happen to your existing maps

The zumo can handle multiple maps and these can be enabled/disabled as necessary. You'll probably find it less confusing if you enable only one map at a time.

Insert the SD card
Switch on the unit
From the main menu, click on the spanner
select map from the options
from the map configuration screen, select the button at the bottom in the middle, I think on the English version it says 'about' or something, press that and you will see a list which check boxes against your existing map and your new Greece Map.
Disable the existing map and enable your Greece map to use (or vice versa)
Disabling it only switches it off, it does not delete the map, so you can re-enable it later if you like.

HTH,

David
