Default Zumo Cradle Question

Hi there,

My Zumo cradle power keeps playing up, once to the point where I actually needed to have the Zumo replaced under warranty. It seems that despite the cradle having a waterproof cap, the pins become oxidized in any case, causing the power connection to become intermittent on long trips.

Anyone know of a solution or a decent replacement item? At the moment, I've taken to bringing a toothbrush along with me on trips to clean the pins!

David

Try a thin coat of dielectric grease. This will protect the pins. Made for electrical connections.

Thanks Fergie, I'll try that.

All the Best
