Zumo Cradle pins falling out

After about 10 months of using my Zumo on the bike, the pins have started to break in the cradle as shown here:

Just curious...Did you call Garmin? If so what did they say?

Garmin have now replaced this under warranty so that's good at least.

However the unit price of this cradle is 111 Euros! is that really justified for such a plastic piece? I'm lucky I have warranty but I'm not so sure riders who don't will be when they find out the price of a replacement pin!

I guess there are other people making Zumo cradles out there which are more robust?
