It is very annoying I end up telling mine to shut up I know what im doing ,my wife thinks im crazy because ive named the female voice Elanor and im allways talking to her .Ive had my zumo just over a year and im still learning what it can or can not do , its certanly a fantastic peice of kit for the bike or car have fun with it...

I think it should be possible to switch off the warnings by going to main menu -> warnings -> POIs (presuming your speed camera warnings are loading using the .gpi file as they normally are)
This will however, completely stop the warnings appearing which I guess is probably not what you want either. The only other options would I think be to switch off the audio for navigation (this would still allow you to see the speed cameras but not hear them but also not hear audio navigation) or to simply copy the .gpi file that resides under \garmin\poi on your Zumo to get rid of the warnings completely. Or you could of course just put up with the warnings ![]() David |

I think I found the answer. It wasn't Garmin Camera POI making speed aletrs. It was the Custom POI. I've switched it off and it's quite now when I'm speeding but there is a waring when I am approching the speed camera :-)
I'm pretty sure I've seen option of editing those custom POI but I don't remember if that was in MapSource or in Zumo... Do you know how can I look into my Custom POI installed on Zumo? Cheers |
